Shoot For the Edit

My bad. I said my video would be ready last week, but that estimate was maybe a bit optimistic. One of the reasons for the delay is that I had been intending to shoot some extra footage to make the video more interesting with some different angles. In order to do that I'd have to set up the same scene as closely as possible and re-enact all my actions from the previous shoot (I know, such a chore huh?). So last night I was feeling particularly horny and so I got rubbered-up and filmed some extra stuff.


The footage isn't an exact match to the previous stuff so I'll have to edit anything gives away the continuity errors, but I'm hoping it should give me some more options when editing and ultimately make for a more interesting video too.



Of course I now have twice the amount of work to do on this one so I'm not going to give any definitive date for when it should be ready. I'm going away for a week's holiday at the end of next week so if I can get it finished before then I will, if not it'll probably be another couple of weeks.

Coming Soon...

Thanks to suggestions from Hood0259 and encouragement from some other friends, tonight I got fully rubbered, lubed up and shiny and let my cam catch the whole thing...



The final recording clocked at over 25 minutes (how time flies when you're having fun!) and will require some editing before I put it online, possibly in several parts and I'm hoping that it will be ready sometime early to mid next week.

Just saw this on GuyzinGear, Rubber Rebel made a video composed of clips from the site and I'm in there, twice. First time is a still picture of my butt and it appears for a fraction of a second about 1m 27s in. My second appearance is a 8-9s clip from my sleepsack video at 2m 28s.

It was weird watching this and unexpectedly seeing myself popup half way through. Rebel didn't tell me he was using my pics and vids so it was a complete surprise. Not that I mind either, it's kinda flattering and besides, I believe Rebel runs the site of his own back, so I guess he's entitled to use the clips people post there.

Dressing For Pleasure

I remember watching this on the TV in my bedroom when I was a kid with the volume turned down, ears straining for any sound that my parents were about to walk in (which they frequently did) and my finger hovering over the off-button, ready to switch it off. I most have only been in my early teens (during the early 90s) just as my interest in rubber was awakening and no doubt this film made a big impact on me too.
Seeing it again, I'm amazed at how detailed and informative it was without being judgmental or sensational. Amazing too that this film is older than I am!

10%?? Blimey, thats a very significant rise and I'm guessing we're gonna see more price rises like this across all rubber suppliers pretty soon. The message is if you're planning a rubber purchase from anywhere at the moment, best order it sooner rather than later...

Rubber 55's Viral

I've blogged this before elsewhere, but because it's so good and because it won a top* advertising award recently I thought it deserved blogging here...



it's Fantastic that this has been recognised for a mainstream (ie. non-fetish) award. I hope this goes some way to dispelling some of the negative, darker stereotypes that seem to surround rubber fetishists and show that rubber can be fun and humourous too.

* I say "top award", but that may be an overstatement. It is an award at least.

Solo Sleepsack

I got a neck-entry sleepsack from SkinTightRubber a few weeks ago. It's a great piece of kit, unlike other sleepsacks which often have internal sleeves to secure your arms and require someone else to zip you in, this one has a stretchy neck hole which means you can get in and out on your own. Though this isn't anything like real bondage, it's a hell of a lot of fun anyway.

I took this vid mainly so I could see how I looked in the sack. I had to set the camera rolling before I got in and left it while I was in there. The full video was 30mins long and included several minutes where I actually feel asleep! I had to edit it down to under 10 minutes though, so the snoozing was the first to get the chop.

Somebody on GuyzinGear suggested I should do it again with my inflatable hood next time. Sounds like a plan :) Though I'll have to do the whole thing blind, I better get some practice in I guess ;)
